More fun this week. We went to the petting zoo with the neighbors and the picture with Isabella looks like a prom picture to me :)! Brady continues to enjoy sports class and is an enthusiastic participant. It seems to wear him right out. I love that he had his cat (Orange Mimi) right on top of him during his nap. I couldn't resist taking a picture - totally a picture I'll bust out to show his future girlfriends. We took a train ride to San Juan Capistrano with Isabella and Marie today. Before the train ride we took a walk and saw this pelican that Brady fell in love with. Who knew that I would end up including nature pictures two weeks in a row? Kendall got her first shots and now weighs 12 lbs 6 oz. What a porker! The baby is smiling more now and she really enjoyed the train ride. The conductor spoke to Brady and I thought that he would pass out from sheer joy.

Update for the past few weeks

Wow - we are a little overdue for an update, so bear with me - this will be a long one.

Brady: Still obsessed with cheerleaders and even has a "favorite cheerleader" on Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team. It's Kelly Jo in case anyone is curious. He is doing well in swimming and his sports class. Brady is always the first to answer when the coach asks a question (and like his mom he thinks his answer is always right). Here are some pics from soccer day - Papa Hyman owes us pictures from baseball day. On baseball day Papa was encouraging Brady to "get second" when running the bases, so Brady stopped and picked up second base. The kid is very literal at times. The class is hysterical to watch, 20 2-and 3-year-olds trying to stretch and follow directions - comedy. Brady was acting like a little Abercrombie model this morning - leaning against the neighbor's front porch.

Kendall: Brady has been wanting to include her in everything, which is cute. He sings to her and shows her how he brushes his teeth. He was acting like her tummy time coach when she was playing on her surf mat the other day. She was exhausted after the tummy work-out. She is smiling more now, but really only smiles in the morning and smiles most at Brady.

I bet some of you (Brett) wonder what we do all day. Well, we take walks, play with the neighbors and I drag my two-month-old to hearings against the 241 Toll Road. Marie, Isabella, Kendall and I attended the hearing yesterday and even made it on Surfer Magazine's web-site: http://surfermag.com/photos/flash/toll-road-hearing-08/ check out the picture - it's the second one on the page:). I'll also include a few more on this entry to prove to all of you (Kelly, Heidi and Debbie) that I was there.

Kendall says "Save our State Parks!"

Let's see...what else. We had the world's biggest, scariest spider living outside the back door. We went to Happy Hour with Grammy and Papa (I REALLY enjoyed having a glass of wine again!). We went on a train ride from San Clemente to San Juan Capistrano and back. I almost had a heart attack when they cancelled the train back to San Clemente (stuck for several hours without an unlimited supply of diapers and two tired children - even scarier than the spider!), but thankfully they sent an Amtrak to get us. Brady LOVED the "adventure".

Another busy week at the Fish House. Brady held a very exclusive tea party with Isabella, where they drank like cats out of their cups. We also attended our neighbor Riley's football game. Brady was excited to wear one of Riley's old "football germs" (jersey) to the game. He was more interested in watching the cheerleaders most of the time. On that note, I had to watch 2 hours of Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders - Making the Team, because Brady insisted that is all he wanted to watch. Sadly, the show grew on me and after he went to bed I watched to see who got kicked off the team.

Kendall had another exhausting week sleeping, eating, pooping and putting up with me trying new outfits on her. She became very annoyed with the paparazzi and shielded her face like Jessica Alba coming out of the Ivy when I tried to get a few more pictures.

Kelly and Chase came over to play. The kids were so active that Kelly and I could barely keep up with them!

Brady starts his sports clinic next week (soccer, track and baseball) and in honor of that I cut my hair like a soccer mom.

We have had another entertaining week with the kids. I learned that Brady is listening to what is on the car radio after hearing him sing the lyrics to Fergie's "My Humps". I was cracking up when he got to the "check it out" part and Brady said "check it out Baby Sister". The kid is funny. Brett and I are going to alter our music choices =).

Last night Brady stayed up late with Brett watching the Redskins game and refused to go to bed until he saw "the girl" - one of the cheerleaders - again. Brady is going to enjoy football season.

Brady has been giving our neighbor Isabella (or Abella as Brady calls her) lots of rides in his truck. They would drive around the neighborhood for hours if we let them.

Kendall was busy sleeping and having a really awesome hair day!

Update

Here are a few pictures from this week. We went to the Wild Animal Park last weekend and Brady's favorite animal was "Bambi". Apparently we could have saved the money that the Park cost us and taken him to the hills out back to see "Bambi". Kendall is doing well and becoming quite the chunky monkey =).

It was another busy day on Via Agradar. The day started off quietly and sweetly with Brady cuddling Baby Sister (while Mommy tried to sleep just a few more minutes). We had a lemonade stand with the neighbors. Brady tried to eat the profits - he licked the icing off of several cupcakes. He made a few dollars and was excited to put the cash into his piggy bank. Too bad Mommy doesn't save that well! Kendall hung out while we baked.

New Baby

We are all adjusting to having a newborn in the house. Mom is tired, Dad is tired (and busy with Brady!), and Brady is non-stop energy. Brady is a great big brother and likes to help out by getting diapers and tucking "baby sister" in before he goes to bed. Everyone in the neighborhood now calls Kendall "Baby Sister" =)!
